  • We open 9AM - 11PM Monday-Sat, and 10AM - 11PM on Sundays.

    By Bus: Travel into Churchill Square and it’s a 2 minute walk straight up Regent Hill.

    By Train: Brighton Railway Station is a 10-minute walk away. Head straight down Queen’s Road from the station. Turn right at the clock tower towards Churchill Square onto Western Road and turn right at Holland & Barretts up Regent Hill.

    By Taxi: Local taxi services / Uber etc should drop you off outside.

    By Car: Parking is available on the surrounding residential streets, but is scarce. The cheapest local long stay parking is at Brighton Railway station, and then follow the directions above to walk to the bar. Alternative parking is available at Churchill Square Shopping Centre or local NCPs.

  • Yes, we are a dog-friendly venue! Dog bowls, beds and treats are available on request - and if you forget your fluffy friend’s dinner (or stay later than expected) we have a secret stash behind the bar.

    Crossbar is a venue that prioritises Women’s Sports.

    Women’s Sports are for all to enjoy, and as an inclusive and safe space, we welcome all to enjoy Crossbar.

  • Crossbar prioritises televised women’s sports on its main screens; however, we do play men’s sports and, as a multi-screen and multi-room venue, can accommodate most requests. When there are no clashes between major televised women’s and men’s events, the most requested event will have priority over the main screens.

    If you would like a specific game or event to be shown, please contact us, and we will do our best to help.

  • Crossbar has a main bar area with 5 screens, the ‘Clubhouse’ has 2 and the ‘Boot Room’ has 1.

  • We have two function rooms available for private hire.

    The ‘Clubhouse’ has a capacity of 25, and the ‘Boot Room’ has a capacity of 12.

  • Whilst all our main facilities are on a singular ground floor, due to the entrance being on a slope it has stepped access. Additionally it’s an old pub and the main doorways to the building are narrow. Therefore it is with regret we are not currently a wheelchair accessible venue. We are working on solutions for this and will continue to investigate ways to ensure Women’s Sport can be enjoyed by all!

  • Yes!

    During the day we have a selection of pastries and freshly prepared focaccia sandwiches.

    From 5PM we serve a mix of sharing boards including vegetarian and vegan option. For additional information regarding allergens or dietary requirements please contact us or discuss on arrival with the team.
